MBBS
veklury (remdesivir) for injection 100mg/vial
How It Works
Veklury (generic name remdesivir) is a nucleotide analog prodrug that works by inhibiting the activity of an enzyme called RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp), which is essential for the replication of RNA viruses, including the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. By inhibiting RdRp, Veklury interferes with the viral replication process, ultimately reducing the viral load in the body and helping to alleviate symptoms of COVID-19.
