When not to use?

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to VEPESID 50mg Capsule 20s or any other inactive ingredients present along with this medicine.

Severe myelosuppression
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a severe bone marrow suppression (WBC less than 2,000 cells/mm3 or platelet count less than 75,000 cells/mm3) not due to malignant disease since it may worsen the patient's condition.

Live vaccines
Administration of live vaccines is contraindicated during treatment with this medicine due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects including life-threatening infections and death.

Myelosuppressuion
This medicine may cause significant bone marrow suppression in some patients. This increases the risk of life-threatening infections and other associated complications. Close monitoring of blood cell counts is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Anaphylactic reactions
This medicine may cause severe hypersensitivity or anaphylactic reactions in some patients. The symptoms of such reactions may include chills, fever, increased heart rate, breathing difficulties, low blood pressure, etc. Close monitoring of the patient for any such reactions is recommended during treatment with this medicine.
