How it Works

Vraylar, with the active ingredient cariprazine, is an atypical antipsychotic medication used in the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Cariprazine works by acting as a partial agonist at dopamine D₂ and serotonin 5-HT_1A receptors, and as an antagonist at serotonin 5-HT_2A receptors.
