Xolair 150mg (omalizumab) is used to treat moderate to severe asthma that is caused by allergies in adults and children who are at least 6 years old. Xolair is used when asthma symptoms are not controlled by asthma inhaled steroid medicine. It is not a rescue medicine for treating an asthma attack.

This medicine may cause severe anaphylactic reactions presenting as bronchospasm, hypotension, syncope, urticaria, and/or angioedema of the throat or tongue, etc. in some patients. How to use Xolair Injection 150 mg 1 Vial imported
For SC inj only. Doses gt; 150 mg should be divided over more than one site. May take 5-10 seconds to administer.
Reconstitution: Reconstitute using SWFI and allow 15 to 20 mins (on average) for lyophilized product to dissolve. Draw 1.4 mL sterile water for injection into a 3 mL syringe with a 1 inch 18G needle. Place the vial upright and inject sterile water into vial using aseptic technique. Gently swirl upright vial for about 1 min to evenly wet powder. Don’t shake. Every 5 mins, gently swirl for 5 to 10 seconds until solution contains no gel-like particles. Discard if powder takes longer than 40 mins to dissolve and start with a new vial. Once reconstituted, solution should be clear or slightly opalescent and may have a few small bubbles or foam around edge of vial.
Stability: Store under refrigerated conditions, 2°C-8°C (36°F-46°F).
