Zavicefta Injection 2/0.5gm Vial
- Drug Strength : 2/0.5gm
- Pack Size : 1 vial
How It Works
Zavicefta contains two active ingredients: ceftazidime, which belongs to the cephalosporin class of antibiotics, and avibactam, which is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Ceftazidime works by interfering with the bacteria’s ability to form cell walls, ultimately leading to their death. Avibactam helps prevent ceftazidime from being broken down by certain enzymes produced by bacteria, thus enhancing its effectiveness against a broader range of bacteria.
