Diarrhoea, less commonly asthaenia, headache, disturbances in serum-potassium and serum-sodium concentration, alopecia, pruritus and rash.

What happens if I miss a dose of Zescap capsule 600 mg 3×10’s?

Adults: Malabsorption in cystic fibrosis: 100-200 mg daily.
Malabsorption in abetalipoproteinaemia: 50-100 mg/kg daily.
Children: Vitamin E deficiency: Orally. Neonate, 10 mg/kg once daily; 1 mth-18 yr, 2-10 mg/kg daily, up to 20 mg/kg has been used.
Malabsorption in cystic fibrosis: Orally (with food and pancreatic enzymes). 1 mth-1 yr, 50 mg once daily, adjusted as necessary; 1-12 yr, 100 mg once daily, adjusted as necessary; 12-18 yr, 100-200 mg once daily, adjusted as necessary.
Vitamin E deficiency in cholestasis and severe liver disease: Orally. Neonate, 10 mg/kg daily; 1 mth-12 yr, Initially 100 mg daily, adjusted according to response; up to 200 mg/kg daily may be required; 12-18 yr, initially 200 mg daily, adjusted according to response; up to 200 mg/kg daily may be required. By IM injection: Neonate, 10 mg/kg once a mth; 1 mth-18 yr, 10 mg/kg (max 100 mg) once a mth.
Malabsorption in abetalipoproteinaemia: Orally. Neonate, 100 mg/kg once daily; 1 mth-18 yr, 50-100 mg/kg once daily.
