This medicine is used for the treatment of initial genital herpes (a herpes simplex viral infection affecting the genitals causing symptoms like sores around the genitals and rectum) and certain types of sores caused by the herpes simplex virus in immunocompromised patients.

Adults & Children: Insert 1 cm into lower conjunctival sac five times daily at four hourly intervals. Continue for minimum 3 days after healing.
