what are the adverse effects of Dicynone tablet 250 mg 20’s?
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, fever (discontinue), headache, skin rash.
What happens if I miss a dose of Dicynone tablet 250 mg 20’s?
ORAL: Adults: 500 mg 4 times daily during menstruation. Children: Not recommended.
INJECTION: Adults: Presurgically, 1-2 ampoules IV/IM (250-500mg) 1 hr before surgery. Repeat the dosage if necessary. Postsurgically, 1-2 ampoules (250-500mg) every 4-6 hrs as long as the risk of bleeding persists. Emergency cases: According to the severity of the case: 1-2 ampoules IV/IM every 4-6 hrs as long as the bleeding risk persists. Local treatment: Soak a swab with the contents of one ampoule and apply to haemorrhagic area or in the tooth socket after dental extraction. Children: Not recommended.
