How it works
LIORESAL 10mg Tablet 3x10s acts on the spinal cord nerves and decreases the number and severity of muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis or spinal cord conditions. It also relieves pain and improves muscle movement.

What is it prescribed for?

Spasticity
This medicine is used in the treatment of spasticity caused due to the brain or spinal cord injury characterized by stiffness of muscles and interferes with normal body movement.
When not to use?

Allergy
Not recommended in patients with known allergy to LIORESAL 10mg Tablet 3x10s.

Abrupt withdrawal
This medicine may cause hallucinations and seizures if stopped abruptly. The dose should be reduced gradually over a period of 1 to 2 weeks based on patients response.

Central nervous system disorders
This medicine may worsen the conditions like schizophrenia depressive or manic disorders, confusional states or Parkinson's disease. It should be used with caution in these patients. Inform the doctor if any symptoms appear.

Impaired kidney function
The concentration of this medicine may increase in patients with kidney disease. The kidney function should be monitored carefully. The dose should be adjusted based on the CrCl.

Ovarian cysts
Ovarian cysts were found in patients being treated with this medicine for up to one year and disappeared later.

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.

Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with the kidney disease due to increase in the concentration of this medicine and increase in the risk of adverse effects. Close monitoring of kidney function is necessary. The dose should be adjusted based on the CrCl.

Take This medicine as advised by the doctor at the same time every day. Do not take in larger amounts than advised. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable effects. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting the doctor due to the risk of seizures and hallucinations.
