What is it prescribed for?

Lice manifestation
This medicine is used for the treatment of lice present on the scalp, pubic area, and other parts of the skin.

Scabies
This medicine is used to treat a highly contagious infection caused by mites marked by intense itching in the affected area.
When not to use?

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of allergy to Malin Lotion 60 mL (pyrethrins) or any other ingredient present with it.

Increase in symptoms
Use of this medicine may increase itching, swelling, and redness temporarily. Report the doctor if the symptoms are severe and persistent.

Allergy to pollens
This medicine should be used with caution if you have a known history of allergy to pollens of chrysanthemum of other plants.

External use only
This medicine is intended for external use only and should not be taken orally or applied onto cracked or wounded skin parts.

Not for application in the eyes
Avoid contact with the eyes while applying this medicine. If some medicine accidently enters the eyes, splash cold water into them and contact your doctor if any irritation or burning sensation is experienced

Asthma
This medicine has been associated with difficulty in breathing in some patients. It should be used cautiously in patients who have an allergy to pollens of chrysanthemum or other plants.

This medicine should not be used on a child younger than 2 months.

It is advised to appropriately sanitize the bed, clothes, furniture and other items present in the house after using this medicine. This is done prevent the relapse of the infection caused due to the pests present on these items of regular use.

Adults & Children: Apply once to whole body excluding head and face. Ensure that the skin is clean, dry and cool prior to treatment. Wash out after 8-24 hr. A sec application may be given if necessary.
