What happens if I miss a dose of Prostavasin Injection 10 Amp?
Neonates: To maintain the patency of the ductus arteriosus in neonates with congenital heart disease until surgery is possible: Continuous IV infusion beginning with 50-100 nanogram/kg/min; the doses reduced as soon as possible to the minimum necessary to maintain response. Lower doses may be effective in some patients. The dose may be increased to 400 nanograms/kg/min. May be administered by continuous infusion through an umbilical artery catheter placed at the ductal opening.
