This medicine is used for the short-term treatment of stomach ulcers that are benign. It is also used as a maintenance therapy after the ulcers have healed.

Gastroesophagal Reflux Disease
This medicine is used for the treatment of a condition where the acid produced in the stomach causes irritation in the food pipe.

Erosive Esophagitis
This medicine is used for the treatment of a condition where the food pipe is eroded due to prolonged acid reflux from the stomach.

Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
This medicine is used to relieve the symptoms of this rare condition where the acid secretion in the stomach is abnormally high.
