Vildagliptin: Bullous and exfoliative skin lesions. Monotherapy: Dizzines. With metformin: Tremor, headache, dizziness, nausea, hypoglycaemia. With a sulfonylurea: Tremor, headache, dizziness, asthaenia, hypoglycaemia. With a glitazone: Wt gain, peripheral oedema. With insulin: Headache, hypoglycaemia, chills, GI upset.
What happens if I miss a dose of Vilip M tablet 50/500 mg 14’s?
Adults: Initially, based on current metformin dose, 50 mg/850 mg or 50 mg/1000 mg twice daily (morning and evening) with or just after food. For patients receiving components as separate tab, switch to equivalent dosage. Recommended daily dose, 100 mg/2000 mg. Children: Not recommended.
