    • Atrial Fibrillation

      This medicine is used to reduce the risk of blood clots and stroke in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation.

    • Deep Vein Thrombosis

      This medicine is used to treat blood clot formation in the blood vessels of the legs and other extremities.

    • Pulmonary Embolism

      This medicine is used to treat blood clot formation in the blood vessels of the lungs.

    • Deep Vein Thrombosis - Recurrent Event

      This medicine is used to reduce the risk of recurrent blood clot formation in the blood vessels of the legs and other extremities in patients who are at risk of recurrent deep vein thrombosis following at least 6 months of standard anticoagulant treatment.

    • Pulmonary Embolism - Recurrent Event

      This medicine is used to reduce the risk of recurrent blood clot formation in the blood vessels of the lungs in patients who are at risk of a recurrent pulmonary embolism following at least 6 months of standard anticoagulant treatment.

    what are the adverse effects of Xarelto tablet 20 mg 14’s?

    Anaemia, elevated GOT and transaminases, nausea, post-procedural haemorrhage. Dizziness, headache, hypotension, haematoma, epistaxis, haemoptysis, GI upset, pruritus, rash, pain in extremities, fever, oedema, fatigue, asthaenia, renal impairment, raised LFTs, contusion, wound secretions, serious skin reactions.

    What happens if I miss a dose of Xarelto tablet 20 mg 14’s?

    Adults: 10 mg within 6-10 hr of surgery if haemostasis established then 10 mg once daily for 5 wk following hip surgery or 2 wk following knee surgery. Children: Not recommended.
