How to use Fucidin tablet 250 mg 20’s

Administer by IV and infused slowly over a period of not less than 6 hrs.
Reconstitution: Dissolve the contents of one vial containing 580 mg diethanolamine fusidate powder in the 50 mL buffer provided and then for adults add this to 500 mL appropriate infusion fluid, The enclosed needle may be used for this purpose. For Paeds & Adults lt; 50 kg: Each dose corresponds to approx 0.6 mL of the fusidate/buffer solution per kg body wt. This volume should be further diluted, at least tenfold, with the appropriate infusion fluid and infused slowly over a period of not less than 6 hours.
Compatibility: NaCl, D5W.

What happens if I miss a dose of Fucidin tablet 250 mg 20’s?

INFUSION: Adults: In severe infection, 500 mg three times daily by slow IV infusion. Children: lt; 50 kg: 6-7 mg/kg three times daily. Neonates: 10 mg/kg every 12 hr.
ORAL: Adults: 500 mg three times daily. Children: Up to 1 yr, 50 mg/kg daily in 3 divided doses; 1-5 yr, 250 mg three times daily; 5-12 yr, 500 mg three times daily; above 12 yr, same as adult.
