Osteoarthritis
This medicine is used to relieve symptoms such as pain and stiffness associated with osteoarthritis in patients who fail to achieve adequate relief from simple painkillers or from exercise and physical therapy.
When not to use?

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Hyruan Injection 25 mg 1 Pre filled Syringex2.5 mL , hyaluronic acid, or any other inactive ingredients present along with the formulation.

Joint infection
This medicine is not recommended for use if the patient is suffering from a localized skin or joint infection.

Inflammation
This medicine may cause inflammation (swelling, redness, etc.) in the knee in some patients. If the symptoms are severe, contact your doctor immediately for further instructions. To prevent these symptoms and to treat mild to moderate symptoms, your doctor may advise you to rest your knee or apply ice for a short time after the injection.

Strenuous activities
You are recommended to avoid strenuous activities such as jogging, tennis, heavy lifting, standing on your feet for a long time, etc. for at least 48 hours after receiving this medicine in the knee.

Joint effusion
Patients with joint effusion should be treated first before receiving this medicine since it may worsen the patient's condition.

Adults: One injection by intra-articular injection once weekly for 3-5 consecutive wk. Course may be repeated at not less than 6 mth interval. Children: Not recommended.
