Clostridium difficile-associated Diarrhea
Antibiotic therapy will cause an imbalance in the normal microbial flora of the large intestine, which may promote the growth of bacteria called Clostridium difficile and you may experience severe diarrhoea as a result. Report any such incidence to the doctor on priority and avoid usage of LINCOBECT 300mg Injection 1ml in such cases.

Gasping syndrome
Benzyl alcohol which is an ingredient of the LINCOBECT 300mg Injection 1ml injection has been associated with "Gasping Syndrome" in paediatrics patients, which is characterised by multi-system failure. The risk depends on the quantity administered and the liver function. Premature and low-birth-weight infants are at increased risk of developing the gasping syndrome.

Liver and kidney disease
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney disease. The dose should be reduced to 25% to 30% of the normal dosage in severe kidney disease conditions (CrCl less than 10 mL/min). Close monitoring of kidney and liver function is necessary while receiving this medicine.
