• Allergy

  This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to MB-ASIX 20mg Tablet 100s , or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.

• Anuria

  This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with anuria, a condition where the kidney is unable to produce urine.

• Pregnancy

  This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

• Breast-feeding

  This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine. Your doctor may advise you to discontinue breastfeeding or to discontinue the drug based on your clinical condition.

• Severe liver injury with cirrhosis and ascites

  This medicine should be used with caution in the patients suffering from liver diseases such as severe liver injuries, cirrhosis, ascites, etc. since it may worsen the patient's condition. Close monitoring of electrolytes levels and liver function is recommended for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

• Volume depletion and electrolyte imbalance

  This medicine may alter the blood volume and electrolyte levels in some patients. This may cause dizziness, dry mouth, and acid-base imbalance. This risk is especially higher in patients suffering from kidney and liver diseases. Close monitoring of blood pressure and electrolyte levels is recommended for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

• Hearing problem

  This medicine may increase the risk of developing a hearing problem when rapid intravenous injections are given. This risk is especially higher in patients receiving other medicines which may cause an adverse effect on the hearing. Any symptoms such as hearing difficulties, ringing in the ears, etc. should be reported to the doctor immediately. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

• Driving or operating machinery

  This medicine may cause dizziness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any dizziness during treatment with this medicine.

Take this medicine as advised by your doctor. Do not take in larger amounts than prescribed. It is advised to take this medicine in the daytime to prevent sleep disturbance. Drink an adequate amount of water. Close monitoring of kidney function and electrolyte levels is necessary during treatment with this medicine. Report any undesired side effects to the doctor. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
