Uses of REMICADE 100mg Infusion Vial

What is it prescribed for?

• Rheumatoid Arthritis

  This medicine is used to relieve signs and symptoms including pain and swelling associated with rheumatoid arthritis in adult patients. It is also effective in reducing structural damages and improving physical functions in adult patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis.

• Psoriatic Arthritis

  This medicine is used to relieve signs and symptoms such as pain, swelling, the formation of scales on the skin, etc. associated with psoriatic arthritis in adults. It also reduces structural damages and improves physical functions in adults with psoriatic arthritis.

• Chronic plaque psoriasis

  This medicine is used for the treatment of moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis when systemic therapy or phototherapy can be used and the use of other medicines is inappropriate or less appropriate.

• Crohn's Disease

  This medicine is used to signs and symptoms such as pain, swelling, diarrhea, weight loss, fever, etc. associated with Crohn's disease in adults and children above 6 years of age. It is normally used when other medicines are not able to provide symptomatic relief or are not well tolerated.

• Ulcerative Colitis
