Bacterial infections
This medicine is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, buccal cavity, skin, and soft tissues. However, it should be used only to treat infections that are proven or enough clinical evidence is present to ascertain the causative organism of the infection.

Toxoplasmosis
This medicine is used as a secondary line of treatment for toxoplasmosis in pregnant women. It also reduces the chances of transmission of the infection to the fetus. Specific circumstances of treatment with this medicine are determined clinically.
